How it all began...

Marinda Swart started Let Them Grow in 2004 as it was her dream to create a unique place where children can develop at their own pace with the support and love of caring staff. Knowing many parents she realized that it was not a given to have peace of mind during the day when it comes to the care of children. The most important role she plays in the lives of parents is to ensure their children receive love, care and education where they leave them each morning.

In the first year Marinda had 2 staff members and baby rooms to accommodate young parents. In the last 10 years her Baby daycare developed into a crèche which leads up to Pre-primary School. Because many of her parents and children can’t imagine a better place, Marinda opened her doors for primary school children and offers after school programmes as well has holiday programmes. Parents appreciate this addition to the centre. Some come from as far as Bryanston to be able to let their children grow up in a stable environment from as early as birth to the first years into primary school.

If you ask Marinda where things will go from here, she will tell you her next big dream: opening a primary school which leaves no child behind.
