Parents and Friends of Let Them Grow
Taking good care of your children is what we do best. While praising ourselves is not what we stand for, we would like to share some opinions of our parents and those close to us. Because those we service know our service best.
TESTIMONIALS
“I started working with Marinda (Let Them Grow) in 2012 doing legal work for the school. I got to know Marinda - never met her personally and because of Marinda's outgoing personality and just the way she is, it was without a doubt that should I one day have a child/ren, he/she would go to LTG without thinking twice.
In February 2014 I found out that I am pregnant and when I shared the news with Marinda, she was just as happy and excited as me - if not a little more! ;-)Eventually in Aug / Sept 2014 I had the privilege to finally meet this wonderful person and I knew instantly that Izelke will definitely go to LTG... Izelke was born in October 2014 and when I went to LTG to "show off" my precious little bundle of joy in November, I felt at home when I entered the premises.
This was no ordinary creche and I knew Izelke would get the best care here! After my maternity leave, Izelke was enrolled as from 1 February 2015 and is currently in the Owl class for the babies. For me, the most important thing is that my child is happy and looked after well. I can, without a doubt, confirm that LTG's staff is amazing. I appreciate the fact that I can drop my girl off anytime before 7am and when my baby is not feeling well, I get informed and extra special care is given until I get to the school to take her to a doctor.
I leave my baby with a good heart at school every day where I know is a lot of love and care. Every child should be as happy as Izelke when going to the right school - LTG is perfect!!!”

Ek se vir julle dankie, dit is so 'n moeilike ding om jou kind by 'n plek af te laai, maar ek moet se die liefde, lig, lekkerte en integriteit van julle skooltjie is baie skyn helder. Ek en Ben is dankbaar vir dit!

A couple of weeks ago, my in laws were visiting from PE. During this time, Mia stayed off school for a few days as they wanted to spend time with her. One day while in the area, we decided to pop in to LTG to show my mom in law where Mia goes to school. Well, she was totally blown away by your kindness and warmth and also at how happy Mia was to see Lientjie. She knew that this was her home away from home. It really warms my heart and makes me really happy to know that Mia is in such good hands and that she is so happy at LTG. Thank you Marinda and to everyone at LTG.

I also appreciate the way they look after my little one, and he really loves going to school.

I have bitter sweet news, I must give you notice for Julian. We received his passport today and will be applying for his Australian visa shortly. Though Ben and I are happy to reunite our little family this has also caused very mixed emotions. Julian has developed and grown so much that I can only think that it's been going to school and having all of his aunties and friends that have helped. I do have to say we are very nervous about the move for Julian. Nervous that the school he goes to will not be the standard we have gotten used to from LTG or the acceptance of the parents considering Julian has 2 Dads, or will his friends be as kind and sweet as all the kids are now. The one thing since becoming a parent that I feel I've done perfectly correct was choosing your school, excuse me for saying but it sucks to know I need to prepare him for the change ahead, he loves going to school so much.

Aaw, thank you so much Marinda. I just have to say we are so glad that found you and that you and your wonderful care givers could look after her during her most delicate age. She was always in really good hands and we never worried for a moment about her safety or happiness there. As a parent you know how important that is.

I am delighted to inform you that K.S. who began with us at Auckland Park Preparatory School on 16 January, has very quickly and happily settled in her Grade 0 class. Our Grade 0 teacher has been astounded at the level of her ability to settle in so well from the minute she arrived at her new ‘big’ school. She appears to be a very well prepared, confident and happy little girl. I wish you a prosperous year and may your little ones continue to grow from strength to strength.

I would like to take this opportunity and thank you and your team for the wonderful and unforgettable contribution you have made to my precious boys growth, wellbeing and milestones. You certainly have done a sterling job at making him and us feel at home and not just another parent with another child, with all the special emails, home time snacks and nutritious lunches this list could go on as there is not one bad thing I can say at all, Joshua absolutely blossomed and came home a happy and stimulated boy everyday... (the cutest is his dancing which he got from music class no doubt) . We wish you and your team the best of luck for the future, I will highly recommend you and Let them grow.

My husband and I thought that we must write you guys a short note of acknowledgement and appreciation for all you do. When we first started looking for a school for E*, I have to confess that we were both considerably nervous about leaving him in the care of others, as well as letting him loose on them. We have to take a moment to let your team know what a seamless transition it has been for both us and E*, and what a pleasure it is seeing him embrace your team as part of our family. Today (June 16th) he woke up, dressed himself and asked to go to school. That is but one indication of how much he enjoys being at Let Them Grow. And grow he truly has. We have seen our son become independent, social, outspoken (and opinionated) and engage with his surroundings and learn like never before. Needless to say, we have the Let Them Grow family to thank forexpanding his horizons, tolerating his precociousness, and developing his potential. So, without much more words, Carl and I just want to say, THANK YOU BUNCHES! You truly add value to our lives, which is priceless! And we want to acknowledge and appreciate this.

When Jonathan was only 3 months old I knew I needed to go back to work after a 5 month long maternity leave. I was considering various options between a nanny or a play school. Being a first time mom, I was filled with anxiety about leaving my little tiny baby in the care of someone else. I contacted various agencies and playschools and then received a reference for “Let them grow” from a close family friend. Each time I visited a playschool I would leave with tears in my eyes. I then went to visit Let Them Grow. I just remember arriving and my heart was filled with a warm friendly feeling. Let them Grow offered a safe, tidy and content environment for babies. I immediately enrolled Jonathan. Jonathan started going to Let Them Grow in January 2012. It was only 3 weeks later that I found out I was pregnant with Jessica.
Let Them Grow was extremely supportive and provided a safe environment for Jonathan while I was juggling the challenges of being a working, pregnant Mom. The environment offered peace of mind that my child was well cared for with meals and snacks on offer. Jessica also started going to the school when I returned to work.
The staff are fantastic and both Jonathan and Jessica are extremely happy in the school. Both of them come home signing nursery rhymes and share little signs of a fun learning environment. The school also take growth and development very seriously. Jonathan had a very traumatic birth and we nearly lost him. Through the stars aligning we were extremely lucky to have in our lives. This meant that observing the normal development milestones was particularly important. Let Them Grow have always consulted us with honesty and offered the most amount of support for our children. I am a very happy parent, with very happy children only due to the wonderful “home-away from home” ethos the school provides. Marinda values the values that any parent would want their children to be exposed to. I would like to say thank you to Let Them Grow for partnering with us on this very daunting experience of being a parent.
